Scott H. Kapilian joined the firm in February 2003. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Kapilian was a senior real estate attorney at Palmer & Dodge, LLP, and an associate in the real estate department of Bingham, Dana and Gould LLP in Boston. Mr. Kapilian has over thirteen years of commercial real estate experience specializing in the acquisition, financing, development and leasing of retail, office, industrial and hotel properties, as well as general commercial real estate matters. While at Palmer & Dodge, LLP, in Boston, Mr. Kapilian represented institutional lenders on a wide variety of national real estate loan transactions, and he worked on various development projects in the Seaport District, including the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and the Convention Center Hotel.

Scott currently represents a variety of real estate developers, retailers, business owners and a local university in the acquisition, development, financing and leasing of shopping centers, office properties and mixed use projects including retail, office, hospitality and residential components. Scott currently works on projects ranging from large big box anchored shopping centers and lifestyle centers, to office buildings with ground floor retail space, to single occupant retail sites occupied by local, regional and national retailers and restaurant operators.

Mr. Kapilian is a native Bostonian, a cum laude graduate of Boston
University and a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law. Scott currently resides in Bedford with his wife and son.
